THE FATE OF MAN IS IN THE HANDS OF ONE WOMAN

In the historic Turkish city of Ruin, American journalist Liv Adamsen wakes up in an isolation ward. She knows she entered Ruin’s forbidden ancient Citadel, but remembers only darkness.

A strange whisper within says she is `the key': but to what?

For the desperate fanatics inside the Citadel, only her return can secure their survival. Charity worker Gabriel Mann, meanwhile, believes Liv could unlock mankind’s most profound mystery.

And for a powerful global faction, Liv’s silence – at any cost – is all that matters. Hunted across continents, Gabriel and Liv approach an explosive discovery – one that will tear them apart and change the world forever…

3.0 out of 5 stars Not what it appears... 24 Mar. 2013

Although the story was well-written, I was confused by the assumption that I should know what had happened in certain incidents referred to; it became apparent that this book is a sequel to Sanctus. I've been back and checked, and there is nothing in the product description which indicates this. Having then read some of the customer reviews of Key and Sanctus, it seems I'm not the only one. I have since read parts 1 and 2 of Sanctus, some of the Key falls into place. However, some reviewers have also commented on the fact that parts 3 & 4 are repeats of 1 & 2. On this basis, I won't be having a go at the later parts.

1.0 out of 5 stars Do not buy this book 12 Nov. 2013

I read all the Sanctus books and the key and loved them. I thought the books had been re written when I saw the part one to four of both books. I tried reading the reviews before t bought them, but got confused. It is not clear that broken down parts are the main books broken down into four books. Why do this. Is this just a way off making more money

If you want conspiracy, murder , and a little romance thrown in the pot and add generous drop if religion mix it all up and that's the key!!

5.0 out of 5 stars The key 9 April 2013

I started the book hot on the heels of finishing the Sanctus by the same author. I am so glad that I did, it was the next stage of the story with the same brilliant writing and again I found myself not being able to put it down.

5.0 out of 5 stars tantalising 24 Jun. 2013

Having read Sanctus which I could not put down I was hopeful that the Key would continue in the same vein and it did. I read it almost too quickly and it was as intriguing as The Sanctus and left me desperate to read more.
