An Absolutely superb Novel. Highly intriguing, full of suspense, twist and turns.. one of the best novels I have read. Well- researched, inciting and for someone like me that has been to Egypt before and the pyramids, it really felt so real. This is my first ever Christian Jacq book and I'm already a fan. Great book!!!!!!!!! Will recommend to any one Can't wait to read all his novels. I just purchased the Queen of Freedom trilogy.

If you like Christian Jaqc or tales from the Egypt of the pharoes, this is a magnificent book. It is multi layered, fast paced, well written and superbly researched. I found it deeply satisfying.

Brilliant! A must read.
This is a novel that keeps you gripped in mystery and the characters especially Suti and Pazair make you hopeful that corrpution does not always succeed. A great read. Read more

Thought Wibur Smith was a good story teller, but this is even better. A real page turner, you can't put it down.
