Product Description

Synopsis

"The Joy of Pissing" celebrates our experience as a persistently urinating species from an Irish view point. Irish men in particular love to unburden their bladders off bridges, into the snow, onto ditches, behind cars, outside pubs, up into the air, from tops of buildings, out the backs of buses. Pissing is a practice indulged in, on average, five times a day but seldom if ever spoken about in polite conversation. In fact, we have created countless euphemisms to mask the public acknowledgement that we have to piss. All aspects of urinating are covered by this book, from advanced skills, i.e. how women pee standing, to extra curricular skills such as 'How to piss off a bicycle' and lessons on how to know if you are using a toilet designed for a man or a woman (there is a big difference you know!). There are plenty of hilarious anecdotal stories in the 'Tales of urination' section, there is an entire section dedicated to 'The healing qualities of Piss' and the most comprehensive amalgamation of the usage of the word Piss in the English language.

Joyfully urinating 1 Mar 2011
Format:Paperback
You are probably wondering how much more you need to know about pissing beyond pointing and flushing. Yes this book is all about pissing or urinating. The science, the art and everything you can imagine that's connected to pissing. It was written by Prof. Jimmy Riddle who has a Phd in Pissology and as a man has a surprising understanding of woman's predicament aswell. I enjoy reading this book because it is about a simple basic idea conveyed in a witty and humorous way with some academic aspects. The various cartoons are great.

The chapters I specifically liked:

Toilet Training
Advanced Pissing Skills
The Finer Piss Arts
Tales of Urination
Urine and Sex
Pissing Problems
Urine, the Elixir of Life
Laws Regarding Pissing in Public

Another taboo hits the dust 21 May 2009

I can't think of any aspect of fascination with urinating that isn't touched on by this book. Professor Riddle (should that be Piddle?) is clearly well traveled and open minded. Male and female readers with secret pleasures will find that their secrets are out, and there are lots of amusing anecdotes and a few small pen-and-ink illustrations. The book is smaller than it looks in the picture: less than 6 inches high, but there are 224 small pages.
