If you like sports, basketball, MJ, you will love this book. Sam Smith had the opportunity to get behind the scenes with Michael, other players, management, and others in the Bulls organization. This allows us to be behind the scenes and see what is really going on.

Yeah, you learn about Michael's bad habits and some nastiness, but overall you find out what a great man he really is. Highly recommended.

Good bad and ugly 14 Aug 2002
Format:Mass Market Paperback
This is an excellent book displaying the 'other side' of michael jordan. There are more bad points in this book than in any of the others I have read put together. Perhaps this is the weakness of this book in that it is to much bad news and not enough good. We know MJ is only human but surely the Bulls were not THIS bad?! The author seems to play up certain problems within the team for instance the relationship between horace grant and MJ. I have heard Horace talk about MJ in the best terms yet the author quotes only bad talk.
Perhaps it completes the picture of MJ as a human being as well as superhuman basketball player but if you want a general view of MJ the 'Playing for keeps' book is a far better title.
