For anyone who has holidayed in St Ives with or without children this is a lovely reminder of how wonderful a place it is. A great book for children .

We've just spent 2 weeks in St.Ives and are therefore probably pretty biased, but this book truly is a gem. Our daughters - 6 & 4 - have demanded that I read it to them every evening since we left! The story is about 2 children who meet for one week every year in the summer holidays and their adventures within that week. It's a true seaside story - but with a lovely element of "was it real or a dream?". Great text, very appealing illustrations and absolutely to recommend for anyone with a love of Cornwall, St.Ives or even simply the seaside!
