The book is supposedly written by a young student at one of the great Universities in England. The book gives an interesting sight into the attitudes towards sex amongst some young men and women living a hundred years ago. The young dandy devotes a big part of his every-day-life to making love with various young women and I find the way he describes the love-making very enjoyable. This is a book about straight sex, genital and oral, couples, threesomes, foursomes. The women are definitively not only objects of mens' desires; they are wholeheartedly enjoying themselves with their teachers at the University as well as with our young dandy and his friends. Naturally we also encounter sexy and willing maids always game for a ride. What I personally like best is the feeling that I get of a man filled with a general lust for life, for love-making, for women. The way women look, the way they smell, the way they feel, the way they touch our dandy. He enjoys them in every shape, colouring and form. And he lets the women enjoy him and his tadger/boner/stiffstander...! I wonder what happened to him; was he one of the young men dying in the trenches during the World War? I also wonder where I could find Part I of the dandy's memoirs? Being a gynaecologist I can't resist being pragmatic and wonder what the women did in order to protect themselves against pregnancies. It's obvious that condoms were used at the time, but how often and by whom?
