_________________________________________________________________________________________

Four years ago, his father died. Two years ago, Nate's mother locked his brother in a mental institution. One year ago, horrific visions began to torture him. Now, a clandestine group, wielding overwhelming power, wants him silenced. Nate is only sixteen.

Nothing is what it appears and the tragedies of his life are all connected to the secret. A secret so unimaginable, that it will decide whether our modern society becomes a utopian or dystopian world.

Nate embarks on a breathless quest to save his brother and unravel the mystery of their father's death. His desperate flight takes a stunning turn when, along with three school friends, he encounters mystics who teach forgotten skills, lost wisdom and reveal an extraordinary destiny.

As Nate grows older, the journey continues . . . time and dimensions collide. If he can keep his friends alive, avoid Lightyear, and unravel crucial mysteries from the past . . . the Movement just might have a chance to change everything.

Eventually, Nate leads the Movement. But the revolution is crumbling and their adversaries are wreaking havoc in multiple dimensions. He must save the Jadeo and find the Dark Mystic. The time has come to reveal the secret . . . but time's a funny thing.

The trilogy is primarily set in the modern day western United States and across extraordinary realms. It will appeal to more than young adult fans as the three books combine mystics, metaphysical magic, psychics and reincarnation, to push this new age conspiracy beyond the realm of the Celestine Prophecy and Paulo Coelho’s The Alchemist.

More About the Author

Brandt Legg is a former child prodigy who turned an interest in stamp collecting into a multi-million dollar empire. At eight, Legg's father died suddenly, plunging his family into poverty. Two years later, while suffering from crippling migraines, he started in business. National media dubbed him the "Teen Tycoon," but by the time he reached his twenties, the high-flying Legg became ensnarled in the financial whirlwind of the junk bond eighties, lost his entire fortune... and ended up serving time in federal prison for financial improprieties. Legg emerged, chastened and wiser, one year later and began anew in retail and real estate. From there his life adventures have led him through magazine publishing, a newspaper column, photography, FM radio, CD production and concert promotion.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great trilogy - Outstanding 2 Sept. 2014
Format:Kindle Edition
A brilliant read. A gem find for me. This trilogy of books, which were not only highly entertaining but incredibly clever and thought provoking was one of the best reads I have had for a long time. I have a great interest in Quantum Physics. I read books on the subject. I love the whole metaphysical concept and Mr Legg not only explains the subject in a wonderfully fantastical way, he also makes a lot of sense.

What if there are parallel realms of existence, which breach time and space? Wouldn't this trilogy be an extremely accurate assumption?
The characters were superb. Nate was very lucky to have such great friends. He was unlucky to have a bit of a rough relationship with his mother, a dead father, from circumstances not at all clear, and a brother who is in a mental hospital.

When Outview, the first book ended, and I moved on to, Outin, I thought, thank God, I can read this straight away. I felt the same way as I went on to the third book, Outmove. The entire trilogy was compelling and wonderfully written - Good solid writing, which did not wane. Scenes were vibrant in description, plots were engaging, and pace was excellent.

I truly enjoyed this experience, and I thank the very talented author, Brandt Legg.

5.0 out of 5 stars Emotionally invested 23 Aug. 2014

I absolutely loved this sci-fi epic! I bought it last month but wanted to wait until I finished all three books in the series before reviewing. This coming of age story hooked me from the start and it plays out in tantalizing fashion. The hero Nate is trying to discover the truth about his father’s death and rescue his brother. Meanwhile he and his friends are being hunted. With relentless pacing, sympathetic characters, and a suspenseful plot, the author totally captured my imagination. This is a world I happily revisited in each book. By the end of the series, I was totally wedded to the characters and emotionally invested in the outcome. Great read!

5.0 out of 5 stars Fabulous Epic! 26 Aug. 2014
Format:Kindle Edition
I love this series. It’s all my favorite genres – fantasy, thriller, mystery, scifi – all wrapped up in one epic tale. The great characters and carefully engineered plot kept me engrossed. Each book tells a fast moving story that doesn’t let up until the end. I was totally immersed in this imaginative world. I recommend it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Can Wait for the Movies 5 July 2014

I can’t wait for the movies
The Inner Movement
Brandt Legg

I’m so glad I didn’t discover this series until after all three books, Outview, Outin and Outmove had already been written. I don’t think I could have waited to see how Nate’s story was going to end in the time it would have taken Mr. Legg to finish writing the last two.

I’m not certain I understand enough about the complex subjects in The Inner Movement series to do justification in reviewing them, so I’ll just say I love the emotional connection between Nate, his friends, family and the people he comes to love during his journeys to save mankind from itself. While the subject matter can at sometimes be complex, the feelings in these stories are not. We all know how it feels to be afraid, to love someone, and what we would do to save those we love.

Nate is a teenager when his struggle between good and evil begins, but he accepts his fate and we have the privilege of going along with him in the warm, safety of our homes.

I fully expect Outview, Outin and Outmove to be made into movies. The action alone would be worth the wait

First I'm going to give you words and phrases that describe this page turner for me.... Conspiracy, discovery, trust, betrayal, mystic powers, terror, innocence, sibling love, friendship, family.
Start out with Outview (book one).... the story of a young teenager Nate who has this power (or curse; however you choose to see it). His father had it, his brother Dustin has it and his Aunt Rose does as well. Their gift is misunderstood - most likely by ignorance on the part of the 'normal folks'
After Nate's father dies (or is killed - you'll have to figure that out), Nate goes on a search to find the depth of these Outviews he experiences. I had never heard of an out view and I'll have to admit I was intrigued.
With the help of his good friends Kyle and Linh, Nate begins his search to find answers. He is steadfast in his search for answers. The depth of the innocent adolescent friendship between these three is another thing that amazed me. We see how unconditional love and trust abounds with them. We also experience Nate meeting up with his spiritual advisors along the way, the mystics who don't give him answers per se but encourage and teach him how to deal with his power; to look into himself for answers. I learned just how powerful the mind is....mind over matter I guess you could say.
Brandt Legg is the ultimate story teller. He takes us on the journey with Nate and I completely felt like a spectator. I WAS in the woods with Nate. I felt everything from the wind blowing in my face, to running through the woods with Nate, the sound of the water, the branches of the trees moving, the mountain lions and the vivid descriptions of each scene. I felt the sting of knife wounds, the piercing of a gunshot to the flesh and I was scared to death.
