I watched this at the cinema last night - it's hilarious! Omid Djalli is very funny in the lead role - and there are cameos from lots of british comedians. The film tackles many religious stereotypes (all done tastefully), resulting in a very amusing and heart-warming story. This is one of the funniest films I have seen in years!

Ok, so I bought this for Christmas for my brother. I saw the trailer and thought, this will be hilarious. I was sadly incorrect. The story line was cheesy, the amount of comedy was very poor and all in all, a tedious movie. I expected more from you Omid Djallili. Despite this only costing £4, it was not worth it. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS TO OTHER CUSTOMERS.

I'm really struggling to give this a one star review.
The story line is hard to accept, the script is terrible and the acting diabolical. In principle I like the actors in their own right, but they certainly did not gel in this film.
Do yourself a favour buy another film!

On paper this should have been funny. Omid in the lead role, and Baddiel as scriptwriter. Well, it should have stayed on paper, and not made the transition to celluloid. Read more
