This greatest hits, although missing many many more fantastic tracks is a true testement to his abilty as a singer, songwriter and performer.
Having come back with the utterly superb "Chocolate Factory" album the first track on here is the number one single from that "Ignition remix". Good stuff but its the second track that blows my mind. "Your Bodies Callin" could be the best R Kelly track ever. Not as popular as "Bump n Grind" (both from the album 12 play) but in my opinion the better of the two. "Bump n Grind" though is a classic, and will still be played by many at clubs even now.
"Shes Got that Vibe" is ultimate R Kelly - Sexy yet fun. Very 90's - but just fantastic.
My favourite track on here is "Thank God Its Friday" - another track that is overlooked by the masses - yet it is just superb. "Gotham City" is obviously a track that gets frowed upon - although i'm not a hater of it. Its cool radio freindly track.
"Home Alone" is another party storming track, as is "Fiesta" which sees the Jigga Man take part. "The Storm is Over" & "I'm Your Angel" are weaker R Kelly tracks. They are crossover tracks which in there own right work well. I would have rather seen some more, what I would call, real R Kelly tracks which are not included on this set. Such as "How You Remind Me", "Sex Me" & "Honey Love" - Tracks which are all on the DVD.
The bonus Disc gives us some great moments too - Thoia Thong & Step In the name of love (remix) are two fantastic tracks - especially the latter.
This greatest hits package although not complete in my opinion is a must for any fan of R&B.
Some of you older Soul fans shouldn' turn your noses up at this either. R Kelly is this generation's soul man. And we love him.
you have to buy it!!!!!!
