I thoroughly enjoyed this book and will read it again and again. It's not so much a how to as a how to approach furniture making. Krenov has a way of almost preaching his views on cabinetmaking, these appeals to me and a lot of other amateur cabinetmakers`.
Get,s you in the zone.

This man is a true legend of the woodworking craft from a time before it was popular or cool to be a craftsman.
an inspiration for so many reasons from his philosophy, design ability, woodworking skills and wooden plane making talents.

Far too much opinion and chatter in this book. and not enough clear practical guidance. The photographs are poor and many diagrams just scribble. The structure of the book is very odd. After the first couple of chapters of philosophy he suddenly jumps into fitting knife hinges. There might be some useful hints in here somewhere if you ignore the twitter.
