The Importance of Being Earnest is one of the great classics, witty, entertaining, so very English... . Well, I always liked Oscar Wilde. I have seen several stage version and always liked it. The dialogues and Wilde's use of language are supreme and still unmatched.
The movie is perfect. The cast amazing; Dame Julie as Lady Bracknell surpasses all. I loved Anna Massey as Miss Prism.
All in all perfect entertainment.

This film is close to the play which makes this a must see film with an amazing cast. I've bought this for everyone I know so they can enjoy Wilde at his best. His best play in my opinion.
