I love this book and all the other Christopher Pikes i have read, this one in particular is my favourite and i would recommend it to anyone who is old enough to read it !

I bought this book when I was about 14 and it is now 10 years later and I still pull it out occassionally for a read. I have always been interested in Greece and Greek Mythology so this appealled to me immediately, even made me visit mykonos where it is set - which may I add is beautiful.
Though I have to say I personally did not find it to be a 'horror' in the usual sense more a thriller, the ending being truly superb. I would hate to say to much for fear of ruining it for future readers but mearly encourage you to pick it up and give it a go - even if you aren't a teen. If you are of the same generation as me and remember Point horrors being massive then get this book!
Also must say better than any computer game I have played (with the exception of Gabriel Knight - do a book on that please!!) though I would love to see this book made into a film - shame the lead would be american because I would love that part!!!

Truly fantastic book- one of his best! The concept for this book is very clever and the plot is extremely imaginative. Could not put it down once I had started to read it.
