Cradle-to-grave guide to Adobe Illustrator
This book has been around in one form or other since 1988, nearly as long as Illustrator itself. But while this suggests the book is brimming with experience and insights, you might also infer that the text is getting aged and crusty. And so might I. Although the previous version of the book sold extremely well, the lingering problems and ancient organization were beginning to irritate me. So I tore the book apart and rewrote it from the ground up. "The Illustrator 6 Book" features new text, new graphics, and a new design. I think five words on page 98 are the same, but that's it. The result is the best book I can write and -- I hope -- the best reference on Illustrator.
