This was not just a great Sci Fi story or an amazing adventure, but a well thought out, wonderfully considered piece of work that has a great sense of character and humanity to it.
I would heartily recommend this, as I couldn't put I down from start to finish. I can't wait to see what this talented story teller comes up with next.
Hal (the lead charachter) is the type of bloke a lot of people can relate to and its interesting to see how things spiral out of his curiosity.
This is the second book that I've bought from this author and can't wait to see what he come ups with next.
A thoroughly enjoyable and fresh take on the invisible man theme and I would recommend it!
The story took me through unexpected twists and was surprisingly amusing (the reference made to `duppy', Jamaican for ghost, made me choke on my drink with laughter). I could also relate to London landmarks (Camberwell, Finchley). I loved this story and the writing flowed effortlessly. It was short like novellas usually are, so when I finished it I went back and read it again. It's quite a credible tale and could easily be the type of thing you'd see on a modern-day Twilight Zone.
I highly recommend this Novella and thoroughly look forward the author's next project.
