A great overview of the development and history if this iconic aricraft. I'd recommend it as a good starting point if you are interested in this plane.

If you want a compact book full of information about this iconic aircraft then this is it. You realise that the Hurricane played a bigger part in the Battle of British than the Spitfire, could take more damage and get the pilot home and was easier to repair and get back in the air. The Spitfire caught the nations imagination but the Hurricane saved it!

As the Stars say it's ok thought there would be more to it than there was if you are looking for a skim history for a Teenager (which is what this was for) this would do. If you want to give this to anyone with knowledge of WW2 Aircraft don't bother

Too Small 8 Sept. 2009

Buyer beware, I should have checked the dimensions of this book. It's a pocket book, not a full size book. For its size, it has good summary of this famous and important fighter. If all you wanted was a very short summary, with a few pictures (some good color photos, mostly in Battle of Britain color schemes), then the book is ok. For serious collectors, it is not a worthwhile purchase.
