Brilliant 28 April 2008
Format:Hardcover
This was the most thrilling book that i have read for a long time! The main characters are completely believable, and although you will realise that its completely overboard, that just adds to it. I couldn't put it down, and i cant wait for 'the tomb of hercules' to come out, to see what Eddie and Nina get up to next! Fabulous!!!!

Sunken? 6 Aug 2009
By R. Ward
Format:Paperback
There isn't really a whole lot of hunting for Atlantis in long parts of this book, it is more like a series of action scenes, some of which are better than others. I agree with others in that the main characters of Wilde and Chase were a bit shallow and lacked credibility.

That being said, it is a fast moving easy read which is very entertaining in parts, especially the under water scene, so I'd say that while this isn't fantastic it is an enjoyable read. Fans of Matthew Reilly and James Rollins should enjoy, just maybe not as much.

Loved it! 28 Jan 2008
Format:Hardcover
For all you Matthew Reilly fans out there. If you're in need of another book to read, this is the one for you!!!
I really enjoyed the story, pace and writing style. I'm a big fan of Matthew Reilly and based on the other reviews thought I'd give this book a try. Needless to say (based on the title of this review) I loved it. For me it ticked all the boxes for a great, fast-paced, adventure. I would urge you to give it a try.

Avoid!
Formulaic drivel with poor characters, ludicrous plot and negative research. Fortunately bought from a charity shop and very quickly returned. Read more

this book is a brilliant, fun thriller! the 2 main characters are great fun to read about, especially considering the two main characters are quite believable.

Better Than Dan Brown!
On the surface, there are some similarities between Andy McDermott's work and that of Dan Brown. Both write thrillers in which the protagonists solve ancient mysteries. Read more
