This album was recommended to me by a French DJ because I enjoy the sounds of Goldfrapp and Air. Chungking was, I'm ashamed to say, new to me but the combination of the gentle but powerful female voice and the subtle electronics in the backing, has gained this band another fan.
The tracks in this album are mainly, lounge-style, relaxation but the wonderful skills of the band show clearly in every single track. It isn't possible for me to categorise Chunking except to say that they sound like Chungking.
I suggest that you listen to the track clips because they represent the tip of an iceberg of amazing music from this band.

If you already have We Travel Fast, then you don't need to buy this! It is the same album in new packaging with two new songs; Voodoo, and Please don't talk. Both are great tracks but I was slightly annoyed when I received the album through the post to find I basically already owned it! For this reason, and this reason alone is why it has received one star! But if you have no Chungking in your collection then go buy this album, as they are a fantastic band and their music is beautiful, but this is no second album, just a re-designed version of the first.

Had this a few years and got back around to it after a few years gathering dust. Still fresh, still excellent lyrics and production - if you want an excellent, difficult to place in any genre album, look no further.
