great job, my neice loves this book almost as much as ms. gomez's first book " elliot and the big wave".....the illutrations are still both beautiful and colourful and the rhyme enchanting as always. i will be awaiting more publications with anticipation and eagerness....great stuff!!!

My kids loved this book. Obviously, it's an old tale that we all know but Elena Gomez's illustrations infuse the story with a richness of colour and texture that my children are returning to again and again. Her warm mediterranean colours fill the story with an optimism that will help to carry them through our cold, English winter!

My kids loved the brightly coloured illustrations.
My 5 year-old son thinks that he looks like Jack ...... only now he wants to build a house like him, with all the animals so that we can live in it! Read more

Quite charming book for all to read
This book was very enjoyable for the family to read and kept them quiet for hours on end.
The children enjoyed the story whilst I enjoyed the pictures.
