I bought this book following a review of it in Zest magazine and it surpassed the already good review featured in the magazine.
I suspect that, since my teens, I been fairly enslaved to erratic hormones and this book will, I suspect, prove to be a life-changing read. The profile is integral to the success of the book, because it is from this that the reader's control potentially emanates.
It does not leave a stone unturned in terms of the recommended, and bespoke, approach to follow for a future of more controlled health, not just hormonally but of course all the other areas of health this will impact on.
Despite the science of endocrinology, which is not laboured in the book, it has a lot of common sense: exercise is key, if you take one lesson from the book, let that be it; it is not about calorie counting, it is the nutritional balance; it is about when and how you eat; and the lack of nonsense regarding stress management techniques.
And to my mind, one of the best things about this book, is the selection of recipes for both a 14-day detox stage and the subsequent healthy eating, which should become the norm.
Very highly recommended. I have never bought a diet book in my life, only ones on juicing, recipes etc. and I suspect I will never need to buy another book about diet, now that I've read this one!
