I bought this for the kindle to pass the hours away by the pool on holiday, I thought it may be an interesting take on Scottish Football, something just a little bit different. I was right on both counts.
The book is made up of a series of short stories connected to, but not particularly about, football itself. A couple of the stories were a little "out there" and I wasn't quite sure what to make of them, however, it was worth sticking with it as there were a few hidden gems including the story of the mourning Jambo's fans, travelling Tartan Army fans and the gangster old firm cash carve up.
Really good value and an enjoyable read.
