4.0 out of 5 stars Thought Provoking 16 Jan 2011
By Mavis
Format:Hardcover
With a variety of subjects this book is good for finding the right words to use for many situations. I used part of the Prayer for the New Year to quote in several cards to people and all responded with a request for the full version.

Downside - probably some specific prayers for occasions which I will never use.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great meditations! 12 Feb 2011
By Pete - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover|Verified Purchase
This book is a wonderful, thought-provoking and profoundly spiritual book that I have found to be very helpful and enjoyable when quietly meditating, especially during adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. Fr. Lawton's writing is poignant and captures the hearts and minds of the readers and makes his prayer their own. Wonderful book!
2.0 out of 5 stars disappointed 2 Oct 2013
By LS - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover|Verified Purchase
I was expecting to receive the book with the beautiful cover (as pictured), which is the copy I saw in Ireland. Received a hardcover, but with an inferior cover that does not resemble the pictured one.
