A period novel par exallance. Set in the turbulent middle ages, a hero searching for a home to replace the one he lost, a heroine who has endured great adversity to maintain the home she has.These two people will touch your heart as they struggle to come to terms with a marrige that a king has commanded.In a time when love was not required in marriage it is wonderful to watch our hero heal our heroines heart and also his own. I could not put this book down, if you only read one book this year read this, it is superb.

The story is set in England in the twelth century. Catherine of Greneforde, and all her lands, are given to William le Brouillard by Henry II. But times were hard for the people of Greneforde, before Henry came to the throne, and Catherine had struggled to protect them. How William wins the heart of his lady makes a moving and erotic tale.
