CD Description
This is the sixth and final CD in a series surveying the development of brass band music from its beginnings to the present time. All the pieces included on this disc were prompted by personal requests from Elgar Howarth to the various composers included here. Garden Rain, Grimethorpe Aria and Ragtimes and Habaneras have historical significance as they have been transferred from the Decca Headline LP 'Grimethorpe Special'.
