I was very surprised given the authors background that the technical aspects of the tanker hijack were so wrong. Handbrake turns on tankers and underway at night with all the deck lights on etc - it doesn't happen. It really took the shine off of what I was expecting to be a cracker. Other than that some good plot and suspense.
