I always love to review books from Tate Publishing as they are so out of the ordinary, and this is no exception. We are taken on a journey down the High Street as we follow Sally on her search to buy 10 items - will she find that elusive final item? Can you help Sally find the things she wants as you fold out the flap depicting each shop. There is lots here to talk about and the illustrations are packed with detail. This is the High Street as it should be - full of individual and quirky shops - a real delight.

I bought this book because I am always looking for interesting books to share with my class that have illustrations and a style that I will enjoy too. This book has the most lovely pictures that are full of detail which the children loved to look at. It has a lovely cadence when you are reading out loud and the items on the list were a bit different from the norm. Highly recommended for style conscious KS1 teachers.

What an absolute pleasure to read! My 3 year old son loves this book and so do I. The illustrations are just delightful, there's something new to see every time you look at it. Buy it - and you won't regret it :-) I'm off to buy her other 2 books now!
