I loved The Hollow, and I loved The Haunted, and I was really excited to see how it all ended in The Hidden… but I was highly disappointed. It just wasn’t a satisfying ending for the series or for Abbey.

The story itself had a few exciting moments to draw readers in, but it didn't seem to hook like the previous two. That being said, there was plenty of goings on to keep me reading, and I loved how Caspian and Abbey’s relationship developed. But I just saw the ending going in a totally different direction from what actually happened.

The ending is what really let this book down, in my opinion. It was quite... empty, really. I think it could have played out a whole lot better, but that's just how I feel about it.

I think this series had so much potential, and whilst The Hidden was good until the ending, I felt that those final few chapters just made the other events from the series quite irrelevant.

first of all let me say wow what an ending, I wasn't expecting that!(I had a little cry)
I have read the other 2 books & couldn't wait to get my hands on the final instalment! I read it in 2 days as it was unputdownable, although a little slow paced at times hence the 4.5 stars.
New character Cyn was a great new edition, loved her & would like to hear her story!
I would recommend this book for everyone who has read The Hallow & The Haunted, if you haven't read the first two GO read them now! :)

I absolutely adored this trilogy. I found myself swept away and unable to put the book's down. They're very well written with very real characters. You truly feel a sentimental bond towards them. It's a very moving love story, I had a cry toward's the end. I'm so pleased with the way things turned out. I completely fell in love with Abbey and Caspian. Such a powerful pairing. I'd love to see this on the screen.

I quite liked this series but as an avid reader I have definitely read better. The series was one I would possibly read again one day but not for a while. The ending quite dosappointed me but then again its really all down to personal taste. I enjoyed it :)
