How is it that no one has reviewed this yet on Amazon? Ashon is a terrific writer and The Heritage is a wonderful piece of work. Exceptional prose in service of an intriguing (if ultimately somewhat frustrating) story. Very fine characterization and an uncanny ability with teenage vernacular speed this along. Yet another writer who deserves far more exposure than he receives.
