Five more episodes of the 1970s animated series following the garden adventures of Sir Basil, Lady Rosemary, Parsley the Lion, Dill the Dog, Tarragon the Dragon and all the other herb residents. Episodes are: 'Pashana Bedhi the Snake Charmer', 'Miss Jessop Tidies Up', 'Parsley and the Circus Lion', 'Sage's Singing Lesson' and 'Strawberry Picking'.

Another great dvd from The Herbs.
Utterly charming! I love Lady Rosemary's hat!
Best episodes: Sage's Singing Lesson, and Strawberry Picking.
Sage the owl is my favourite character, I wish that there were models of the Herb characters for sale, just as they appear in the series. Sage would be my first purchase, and then Tarragon the dragon, though sadly he does not appear in any of the episodes on this dvd, only in the quiz section as a photograph.
I still cannot understand why the complete series has not been put onto dvd, two episodes have been left out. I hope this will be rectified soon.
Can't get enough of The Herbs! The Adventures of Parsley, although featuring most of the Herb family, is nothing like in the same league of enjoyment as The Herbs, the original, the best! It's still worth having though, but more Herbs episodes is what we want.
They have continued to make new Postman Pat episodes, maybe they could do the same with The Herbs?!
Though if they had, we may not have got the original series on dvd, as they have never put the original Pat stories on dvd, we live in hope that they will soon!
