Book Description

7 Oct 2010
Wherever Scots gather they tell jokes and stories. And the very best of these much-loved tales find their way to the daily Diary column of Scotland's best-selling quality newspaper, The Herald. It is the home of humour from the chip-shop queues of late-night Glasgow, to the bons mots of High Court judges, to the humour of the classroom. No wonder Sir Sean says it is the first thing he reads online everyday from his home in the Bahamas. In this volume we gather the very best tales from the column, proving that ordinary Scots are still the natural comedians of the world.

5.0 out of 5 stars Can't review because..... 20 Mar 2012

Can't really rate it because I ordered this book for my husband's 'Christmas stocking' gift. Our house was burgled on Christmas Eve and all our Christmas presents were stolen, therefore he did not get to read the book! Wail! Wail! I'm sure it was a fantastically funny book. Hope the thief did not enjoy it!
