An excellent little "short", or tease, written comfortably in the British style of my childhood, there is only one reason I could not give it a full five stars. It was a very quick read - probably meant more to give the readers a quick taste of the story and leave us wanting to go back for more - but it hopped around a little too fast to allow a reader UNfamiliar with the rest of the storyline to be quite comfortable. The beginning half, with Lily and Heather, is excellent; in a few short pages, you get a handle on them quite nicely. But then the story moves forward, and it seemed to me that it moved forward - and introduced the next group of players - too quickly. I kept reading, hoping things would explain themselves, and was rewarded with another couple of teasers. I am interested in the series, now, however, and would definitely like to see more from this author.
