This is a great series of stories and extremely laugh out loud humour - quite a tonic and good holiday reading especially if you have visited the islands.

I have spent a most enjoyable few weeks reading this book together with "A Second Hebridean Omnibus". Altogether 1,160 pages!
What a delight! Lovely tales, gentle humour. I don't know what I'm going to do now without all my Gaelic friends. I'll miss them. Thanks Lillian.
