This is a really cracker recipe book. Everything we've cooked from it, so far, (about 6 recipes) has been just delicious. Recipes are straightforward and easy to follow - with great results. Even my sceptical husband is converted, and will use this recipe book above his other Indian cookbooks. Thoroughly recommend it.

I couldn't wait to get home and start cooking once this book arrived. It's packed full of low fat tasty recipes which are easy to prepare. Plus there's a full colour photo of every meal to whet your appetite. There's even a recipe for a Korma that comes in below 10g of fat, and the vegetable samosas are incredibly low fat but taste great too. When I was instructed to follow a low-fat diet I thought I would have to give up Indian food but with this book all that has changed. I've been batch cooking since it arrived and now have a freezer stocked with delicious meals. Highly recommended.

I agree with every other review here. 5 stars all the way. This cookbook is a must! I have tried about 10 of the recipes and have cooked them all more than once. I've been interested in cooking, particularly Indian food, for about three years now and in that time I have collected and cooked recipes from my collection of about 30 books. This book is my favourite. It's easy to read, follow and understand, includes great photos, details nutritional values and the recipes are delicious and are all low fat, what a bonus! I've just spent an hour going through it's pages, folding down another 10 recipes that I can't wait to try! An absolutely superb cookbook!

This is my equal favourite Indian Cookery Book. I have bought 6 copies of it over the years (first 2 were hard back). The second one is kept at my MIL's and the other 4 were bought for presents and the recipients all use them frequently.
If you only buy one Indian Cookery book this is "the one".
Easy to follow recipes for all occasions and there is always a jar of curry paste (recipe in the book) in my cupboard ready to make one of the delicious curries from the book.

Initially, I had checked out the book from the local library, made a few of the recipes (delicious!) & then didn't want to give it back! Ended up returning it to the library, so had to buy a copy to keep! Will definitely get good use out of this book! Excellent recipes, regardless of being low fat. Really, really tasty!

A colleague at work used this book when we had a shared Indian lunch. I asked to borrow it but having looked through her book, there were too many recipes I liked for me to copy, so I traced the book online and have not been disappointed. I love cooking, love indian food and these are low-fat as well. Can't go wrong.
