Review

Simon Brown takes us on an intimate journey inside the body and soul of Adam Saunders, the Healer. Experiencing the world through this unique character is exciting, humbling, educational and richly sensory. Not to mention spirit-expanding. I feel moved. --Jessica Porter, Author of The Hip Chicks Guide To Macrobiotics

Simon weaves a life changing philosophy into a colourful story with interesting characters who share enlightening insights and wisdom. Great read if you want to explore life in more depth. --Boy George

Compelling storytelling manages to combine several kinds of tale and in this respect it is more than just a great novel. --John William Phillips, Associate Professor at the National University of Singapore and author of Contested Knowledge: A Guide to Critical Theory

5.0 out of 5 stars unique ! 7 Oct 2009
Format:Paperback
This book made such a refreshing change to the many number of novels that follow the same old formulaic patterns. Easy to read and with characters that came across as all too human, it was thought-provoking and challenging in many ways.

I highly recommend it to anyone who is more than a little fatigued by the nature of our society and is looking for just that little bit something more.

5.0 out of 5 stars Simon Brown Shines 13 Sep 2009
Format:Paperback
To Those Healing, Those Healed, and Those Who Know They are Whole,

This is a book about being a healer. Therefore, it is a book about each of us in our desire to be of help. A novel can say a lot through its characters, and this one shows the way towards maintaining our integrity and values. The main character discovers and develops the gift that we all have of assisting others in their quest for wholeness. The best part of this journey, for me, is Simon's gentle exploration of truth and values. "Should's" and "must's" fall away, leaving only the individual and his effort to live with integrity. It's an easy, intriguing read that leaves you with a lot to think about. I recommend it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Thought provoking read 10 Sep 2009
Format:Paperback
I enjoyed the character ark of the main character. There is a lot of fascinating philosophy delivered by the believable characters. I found the story compelling and kept me wanting to find out more. Anyone interested in alternative medicine and new age thinking will love this book. Highly recommended if you want a book that is different and a little more challenging.
