On the surface this book contains everything you need to know for the practical side of using Reiki on horses, but the underlying message runs much deeper; trying to help you to learn how to be at one with your horse and at peace with yourself.
This book contained all of the information I hoped for and more. There are many experiences detailed throughout the book from different people, showing you what to expect from the horse you are treating. I especially liked the way Sarah explains how the types/ages of horses will mean they may respond to Reiki in different ways. The diagram of chakras and meditations are very helpful too. Very uplifting, well written with beautiful photos and poems throughout.

This is a nice text, very easy to read and gets straight in there with the how to do it! Obviously it is aimed at people who have already been attuned to at least level 1 reiki.

This essential handbook on equine reiki is packed full of all the information you need to practice healing on your horse. Sarah's knowledge, skill and passion for horses and horse healing is evident throughout, and she gives the reader many beautiful insights into the language and feelings of the horse, which is essential knowledge for anyone intending to give healing to these beautiful creatures. I would highly reccommend this book to anyone interested in equine reiki.
