Product Description
Grooming with the Hair-raiser removes the loose hair and dander trapped in your pet's coat, leaving a clean undercoat and healthy, shiny, topcoat. To use the dual-function Hair-raiser grooming and de-shedding comb simply flip between the two combs. With the wide-set rake teeth comb of the Hair-Raiser engaged, gently groom your pet's coat to free any loose hair trapped in the coat; at the same time knotted or matted hair will be freed or even trapped and removed. Although loosened, most of the loose hair and dander - small particles of skin, similar to dandruff - will remain in the coat. Flipping the head of the Hair-raiser engages the narrow-set, stainless steel, precision engineered, de-shedding comb teeth. Re-grooming the previously-raked area collects and removes all the remaining loose hair and dander. Removing trapped, loose hair immediately it has been freed avoids it transferring to furniture, carpets, car seats or clothing. Using the Hair-raiser also benefits the animal's coat, stimulating the growth of new, healthy hair. After just a few grooming sessions the general improvement in the appearance and condition of your pet's coat will be noticeable. The handle features a soft-grip rubber covering. The Hair-raiser is attractively presented in informative, vacuum-formed packaging - a fabulous gift for any pet lover! The 13 widely-set teeth of the rake comb are individually set into the casement. Almost 60 finely-set teeth comprise the de-shedding comb, precision-engineered from a single piece of stainless steel and extending to the full 3 inches (7.5 cms) width of the head of the comb (in use, this seems to be just about the perfect grooming width for anything but the largest dogs or even larger animals). The Hair-raiser 60 measures 3 x 7.5 inches (7.5 x 19.5 cms) and, weighing 5 ounces (150g), feels reassuringly substantial in the hand.

I purchased this comb in the hope that it would help remove the dead hair from my dog, she is a Tamaskan which is an arctic breed with a thick undercoat. I have tried many different types of brush but none of them are that great at helping release the undercoat. I couldn't believe what came out of her, no wonder I have to hoover twice a day!
I now brush her once a week and it keeps her looking great and it has reduced the amount of hoovering required, always a bonus!
I think you have to see this to believe it, which is why I have made a video of our weekly brush up, so everyone can see how fab it is! This is just what is removed after a one week gap, the first time I brushed her with this I could have stuffed a sofa with the amount of hair that came out!

This is a great product. My German Shepherd has a very thick coat with which we have struggled for years, until now. The comb has removed all the dead hair easily. We now use it once week to keep him looking fab. A word of caution though, use it gently or your pooch will protest.

I ordered this and received it 36hrs later I had read the reviews on this and other internet sites and was a little sceptical to say the least. I had only sat and groomed my CKCS an hour before it arrived but thought I would give it a whirl anyway well I was absolutely amazed I got a big double handful out of her,she had been scratching all the time and I knew it was the heating making her moult again,wonder upon wonder she has not scratched herself for the last 1-1/2 hours,would I recommend it to others you bet I would, buy it you will not be disappointed.

Super Brush!!
This "brush" does a great job. I have a Red and White Border Collie, whose coat is VERY THICK. It gets through to her dense undercoat with ease.
