Product Description
This, the Guarlford History Group's second book, may be seen to be not so much a continuation of the history of Guarlford as a pictorial celebration of the parish, using
parishioners' own family photographs, taken over the last hundred years, to portray their families, buildings, social events and work life. The photographs, in essence a
series of `snapshots', show how village life, farming, business and social activities have changed over the last century, and they record how many of the village institutions and landmarks have ceased to exist. Nevertheless, as evidenced by the more recent photographs, Guarlford remains a vibrant community and a pleasant place
to live.
