Rather disappointed with this - it just doesn't seem to grab my 3 year old's interest despite obsessive reading of the book and watching the gruffalo on tv!
The puzzle is attractively packaged and feels good quality, but no enthusiasm. I think this is for a couple of reasons:
-it's not got many different colours in it.
-I think that she can't "think big" enough for it. She finds puzzles of this size easier if they are of several different animals / figures - she sort of leads on from one thing to the next, breaking up the big puzzle into a series of smaller ones. Which lets face it, is how most people approach big tasks. With this, I think that having one big figure is just too much for her to get her head round.
Maybe she'll like it better in 6 month's time - fingers crossed.

I am a nanny and bought this for one of my charges. He is not 3 yet, but has really enjoyed playing with the puzzle. The pieces are nice and big and there aren't too many pieces to lose. The puzzle comes in a real sturdy box. Which also opens and closes easily. It is good value for the money.

2-year-old grandson loves it! It should encourage patience in fitting the right pieces together, he's pleased when it's completed and likes showing it to others.
