I feel compelled to write a review on Amazon for the first time, having just received this puzzle. I have to agree with another reviewer who said the quality of the puzzles is poor. They are also extremely small. Even at [...], this is not a bargain.

The quality of these jigsaws is very poor. The pieces are made from fairly soft punched cardboard and are curved so the jigsaw falls apart easily. Other similar puzzles such as the 24 piece floor puzzle and the Gruffalo book with 6 jigsaws built in are much better.
Even so my 24 month old loves doing these puzzles and even likes sorting out the two mixed jigsaw pieces. He does get frustrated that it falls apart if he is not very careful.
I would buy one of the other puzzles I mentioned above and steer clear of this.

I bought these jigsaws for my Gruffalo obsessed 3 year old son. We have read The Gruffalo every night since Easter and he can now recite the whole story from memory (as can I....)
His eyes lit up as soon as he saw his multitude of Gruffalo themed Christmas presents (we had also bought a gruffalo cuddly toy, a giant floor puzzle, another copy of the book and The Gruffalo's Child story book)
He has played with the jigsaws almost non-stop and they still look brand new, no bent edges and no damage to the pieces at all.
The difficulty level is just perfect for my son, he is very good at puzzles, so it may be a little tricky for children that are less experienced with jigsaws, but practise makes perfect! My 5 year old also enjoys doing these puzzles.
I would definitely recommend this product to any Gruffalo fan!
