DVD Description

For Boycie, Marlene and son Tyler, life at the Shropshire Grange is so enjoyable – it’s a wonder they ever thought they’d miss the city!

When Boycie and Marlene visit a local mansion, Boycie is particularly inspired by the portraits adorning the walls. What else could secure Boycie’s position as a traditional English squire more than a dignified portrait?

However with Bryan and Elgin tasked to commission an artist, things don’t quite go to plan. If that isn’t enough, the city spiv turned farm owner faces an unwelcome trip to see his mother-in-law, as well as desperately trying to a find his missing dog before he has to give someone else the reward.

Meanwhile, Elgin, Bryan, Jed and Mrs Cakeworthy are just about managing to keep the farm going, despite sometimes seeming a few bales short of a haystack. Bryan looks for a date at farmersfanciers.com and comes up against Steamy Stella; the reality TV show Farm Idol causes a stir at Winterdown Farm and when Bryan’s mail-order bride brings more than he bargained for, Llewellyn is only too pleased to step in.

And the whole farm is excited when they welcome a rich American businessman revisiting the haunts of his military posting in the 1970s. He is clearly still a real ladies man but rumour has it he might also be closely related to someone in the village…

Bonus Feature: The Christmas Special 2007

If you liked "Only Fools & Horses" then it's likely you have been following the Green Green Grass
series, that being the case you will want this in your collection.
It sure does not disapoint, Sue & John at their very best! Great entertainment.
Even you know who pays them a visit?
I only wish the dear old BBC would get their act together & put the DVD's out as soon as posible,
we are still waiting for series four!
In most cases we've had to wait two years or more before we can buy the DVD, surly it's best to get
the DVD out soon after the series has finnished airing, so as to grab people's interest while
it's still fresh in their minds.

UP DATE: It's now Feb 2012 & still no sign of Series Four on DVD, What is going on at the BBC? Clearly they just don't care about the viewer/customer.
Not to release Series Four is an insult to the late Great John Sullivan.........
