Product Description

Product Description

BrainBox is a fast and fun memory game that does not require any pens, pencils, paper, playing board or even a table! Each round takes 10 seconds so all players are involved. A game lasts as long as you want it to, 10 minutes is the norm, but playing for 5 minutes is great fun also. BrainBox is educational and is perfect for families and groups of friends to play, wherever they are, on a level-playing field. Packed in a sturdy cool magnetic cube box. BrainBox is ready to play without any set-up time needed. The rules are pretty straight forward. You can play solo or with as many people as you want. A player simply picks a card and studies it for 10 seconds before being asked a question from the back, chosen by the roll of a die. A correct answer means the card is kept, if not it is returned to the box. The player with most cards after 5 or 10 minutes wins! The winner may not be who you expect as this fabulous game is about observation and memory, not learned facts! BrainBox My First Pictures is a fun starter BrainBox for younger players, the cards do not have words just colourful images.

Box Contains

55 cards;1 rules card;1 sand timer;1 die

I work in the Foundation stage in a primary school and we were bored of all our games. Searching the internet I came across this game which I thought looked different and interesting .

The children love it , it encourages speaking and listening, it can be adapted through the questions you ask, so can be used with a wide range of children. It doesn't matter if a child leaves the game ( as often happens with our 3 year olds !)as it is not a traditional type board game. A great game which I have reccommended to many people. Other friends have bought other games in this series which are apparently as good.

I bought this toy for my five year old son. We've had some really good fun playing it together as a family. It's pretty easy for my smart 7-year old, however, the game can be made more difficult by asking more than one of the questions on the card. My five year old thoroughly enjoys the game and it has really helped him with concentration. He enjoys the game more when he beats his old Mum at it!

I had not previously heard of this product but the advert interested me. I ordered it for my 2 year old son's christmas and when I first opened it I thought very colourful. The instructions are very easy to use and my son loved the colours and the subjects. He is not the easiest child to try and hold his attention but this worked for a good 15 minutes. We use it most days and it is fun and educational. I will be ordering another box soon.

Being a teacher of English as a Foreign Language, I bought this game for my young students. They loved it from the very start and are really enjoying it. I find it is an excellent combination of fun and learning at the same time since they have to read and speak in English, and also enhances their memory skills. It retains a quick rhythm throughout and the pictures are interesting and funny so it is easy to keep children's attention and interest. Overall, it is an amazing game, my students are having a whale of a time with it, and I would strongly recommend it to any parent or teacher. I play it, too, I have to say, and it's real fun.

My first pictures brainbox is a great fun game to play with children. I have used this game with hearing impaired children not only to help to extend their auditory memory but also their confidence to ask questions about what they see. I am also able to assess childrens ability to understand question forms whilst they are having fun.I am intrigued with the other games in the brainbox series which cover other areas of the curriculum and hope to try them out.

This is a really good quality educational game. Its so much fun my 5 year old doesn't realise he's learning while playing! Different age groups can all play together but actually he is the best at it!

It consists of lots of picture cards which you look at for 10 seconds- egg timer provided for extra suspense- then the card is removed and you answer a question based on the picture. It is a rehash of the old memory cards games but in a really fun format. The pictures on the cards are very varied and cover lots of different elements- eg counting, colours, etc

The cards and the box they are in are very sturdy and good quality so I am hoping they will withstand many hours of play. Highly recommended.
