I got this book as a present for my mother. But in the end I kept it for myself and had to get her a second copy.
The idea that everything that happens to us in life is really an illusion is not a new one. But until now, no one I ever met had any real idea about how this was achieved. When you read Part 1 book, what it proposes at first appears to be mad. But in Part 2 you get a series of exercises that enable you to test everything for yourself.
To see the illusion, the main thing you have to recognise is that it is your thinking which creates most of your illusion. I was shocked to discover the degree to which I, and nearly everyone I know, are walking around in fanaticise. I used to think I was rationalising and working things out. Not any more. It's really difficult to explain what it is like to see through the illusion. But doing so has changed my life for the better.
As books go its writing style is a little unusual but practical. The writing style also contains some deliberate spelling mistakes which can be annoying. So you are warned. Following the exercises in the book can also be difficult on your own. Overall, this is a very unusual book. I think it's worth reading.
