I STILL listen to stuff like this (Hair Metal? Don't make me laugh )Totally awesome rock music from 1989,there isn't a weak track on this cd.
For those of you who have only heard their latest (Into The Now)you had better purchase their previous albums just to show you how good these guys really are.
Fantastic hooks, catchy choruses, thumping basslines and excellent drum work.
The main reason I like Tesla is the guitar work of Frank Hannon and Tommy Skeoh. these guys can PLAY. Be it acoustic lines, bluesy riffing or metal soloing these guys can do it all (I know, I have seen em live). So if you like heavy rock music do yourself a favour and buy this cd. You will not be disappointed.
Don't forget, these guys were the inspiration for MTV's unplugged series.

The Great Radio Conroversy is more than a decent follow-up to Mechanical Resonance. It's in my humble opinion the best album from the Sacramento quintet, and it rocks from start to finish! The range of music on offer will appeal to blues and country (Heaven's trail, The way it is), heavy metal (Flight to nowhere) and US hard rock fans (rest of the tracks!). Fact is, i can't name one weak track on this second album. If you like 70ies, 80ies or even 90ies rock, and the likes of Guns n' Roses, Aerosmith and Led Zeppelin, this album is for you.

If you like early 90s heavy rock then this is the sort of this you will be well used to. Tesla belt out great anthems along with the best, the likes of "Hang Tough" and "Yesterdayz Gone" rattle along at standard rock pace and are supplemented with the standard lighters-in-the-air fare of "Paradise".
Never quite reaches the sublime and clever heights of "Invited" from "Bust a nut", or the beauty of "What you give", but is still satisfying.
Most importantly - NO MACHINES!
