Wow what a fabulous book! The story is great and you would never guess how it panned out in a million years. What a great idea, he certainly is the most clever author, the rhyming is superb! The illustrations make you chuckle every read...we LOVE it.

5.0 out of 5 stars very funny! 4 April 2010
Format:Hardcover
I have heard a variation of this story in the past, but this is beautifully written. The 5 year old I read it to thought it was really funny, and he understood the level of humour and irony in the book. We all love it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Children's book ever 18 Aug 2011
Format:Paperback
Funny. Sorry - Hilarious. Well written. Great rhythm. Superb illustrations. I've read every night to four children as they grew and this is the best ever. I still laugh a year later. Children and adults laugh. Anybody who doesn't takes life far too seriously.
