Overall this is a nice book with some beautiful motifs in.
There are a few which I think do not work or look odd because they have been stretched and blocked too much.
All the squares in the book are done in the same size yarn, and some do not suit the yarn used.
I like the book and there's a lot of squares I do like, patterns so far seem clear enough - if in American.
I do like the project section at the end of the book, which includes schematics for laying out squares to make various items.
I'm not disappointed, but I confess you can find just as beautiful and very similar granny squares online for free.
The book is aimed at all levels, there are very easy squares and then squares more suited to those experienced.
