Yet another example of David Pawson's delightful scriptural insight. This bible teacher looks through a telescope for biblical truth that has been distorted through the ages since it was written. He examines so thoroughly the truth of God's Righteousness and also the truth about God's precious love. It is enlightening indeed!

David Pawson has always written just what his dad wants to say and this no exception. Tell me the old, old story yet again. Thank God for this gifted bible teacher. For the committed Christian, this is really heart lifting stuff; our God is real and our God is all powerful, all knowing, all seeing and above all just. Yet we are saved through his Son. I'm so glad David Pawson has again so lucidly explained that our God really isn't a dear old man in the sky, looking benevolently on our world. Get this and take it in, a great strength to faith and a proper weapon in the real evangelists brief case!

What does the bible say about "God loves you"? 13 Jan 2013
By JF - Published on Amazon.com

Here is a quote from this book, and you will get an idea of what it is about:
1) p.15 "What kind of God do you believe in?
2) p.22 "Here is the first fact, and it is a surprising fact to many people: there is very little about God's love in your Bible. Direct references to God's love are few and far between. Less than one verse in a thousand mentions God's love. Yet to hear some preachers and evangelists you would think the whole Bible is about nothing else. But it is astonishing. Here are some facts: Genesis has not a mention of God's love; Exodus, one verse; Leviticus none; Numbers, etc. One or two mentions in the Psalms..."

You get the idea. Pawson then shocks us with how little God's love is mentioned in the New Testament: "Matthew none, Mark, none, Luke none. A few verses in John. Acts has none..."

Pawson goes on to ask: If the apostles didn't mention God's love to unbelievers, how did the church spread everywhere and grow?

Read this book if you really want to know what the bible says, the Holy Word of Almighty God, the inerrant Word of God, not what you have heard or been taught by someone else.

The tale of two gospels 15 Dec 2011
By John Smith - Published on Amazon.com
We live in an age where there is so much confusion and complaint about the character of God. For the large part he's been presented as a sentimental nice old chap that is love, love, love (the sentimental kind) and nothing but love. What is God really like? And what should we include in the gospel to unbelievers? This small booklet tackles those questions head on and is a quick easy read packed with lots to rethink.

I would highly recommend this book!

David Pawson is very knowledgeable. This book gave great insight into how to share the gospel. David Pawson has many talks on Ihop.org if you would like to hear him speak.
