Product Description

Product Description

'From humble beginnings as a private investigator in the Heavenly Court, Satan worked his way up the career ladder to become God's Chief Prosecutor. It wasn't long before he branched off and started his own global enterprise as Prince of The World. 'The Gospel of The Fallen Angel' is Satan's exclusive, honest account of the life and times of his greatest adversary, Jesus of Galilee.' When Jesus walked on earth he gave strict orders not to let anyone know who he was. My minions couldn't help themselves. They kept blurting it out! I had better self control. Until now! After 2000 years, I've finally broken my silence. Not bad going for the archetypal disobedient one! Satan Geraint's The Gospel of The Fallen Angel is a first to tell the story of Jesus from Satan's perspective. He tells the story of the real Jewish Jesus, not the fictitious Christ of the Christian church. A highly original, clever, often funny, alternative view of the Gospels. It has a lot to say about traditional Christianity that is interesting and uncomfortable. Its appeal is its modern message about what it means to be human, whether one is religious or not.

revelationary 7 Dec 2011

Format:Paperback
This new book of Geraint ap Iorwerth is sensational! So you think you know all about Jesus? Read this book and you will review your ideas. So you've lost touch with church these days? Read this book and you will know why. Feel you are on your own in your conclusions as to why you now despise religion? Read this book and you won't feel alone for long. This author is unique in his telling of the remarkable man who was called Jesus. Never before has my thinking been so changed. Yes, I thought I knew about this man called Jesus. This was the man who sacrificed himself for humanity. But no... read on. There was no sacrifice. There was no victim and certainly no High Priest. We have been brain-washed into believing the Western image of the Christ of Glory. This rings of patriarchal hyperbole which has been the theme tune of Western religion ever since its concept.
The main theme of this remarkable book is LOVE...pure unconditional love. You don't have to go back to church to find that out. In fact, the theme of this book would advise you the opposite, for sometimes that is the one place where you will least find love ... certainly not unconditional love. If you are looking for pomp and ceremony, power and glory, then yes, but not love, as identified in this revealing book.
Read this book and be prepared to experience a revelationary shift in who you are and how your life can be changed. Don't be afraid, but you might emerge from the last page a different person. The Gospel of the Fallen Angel: Jesus' Story from Satan's Perspective

Not interested in reading theological books? Neither was I! However, this book is an amazingly riveting read. Using a combination of black humour - sometimes 'laugh out loud' - and detailed research, the author ap Iorwerth has succeeded in conveying deep, shocking, serious, theological truths in a very readable format. I found I wanted to keep turning the pages and now that I've finished the book, I am keen to start reading it all over again.

Fallen Angel 9 Dec 2011
Format:Paperback
In his book 'Fallen Angel' Gerraint ap Iowerth has deconstructed many of the myths surrounding Christian belief in the modern day. This is a bold critique of the myth of modern Christianity and compares the myths and legends that surround the Catholic Church with Dan Brown's Da Vinci code. He sees the Church as a 'private members club' for the priveliged and the powerful. Writing from the perspective of Satan he comes to the conclusion that Jesus himself had no plans to set up a Church and that his message of simplicity and love has been lost amidst the pomp, ceremony and deceit perpetuated by those who sought an opportunity to perpetuate their own power through the simple message of Christ. This book leads us back to the humble and simple teachings of Christ himself and reminds us that the way back to faith is through humility.
