Product Description

Four original BBC television episodes of the much-loved classic sitcom starring Richard Briers, Felicity Kendal, Paul Eddington and Penelope Keith. With their sparkling wit and biting repartee, the sparring neighbours of Surbiton Tom, Barbara, Margo and Jerry arrive on CD for the very first time. "Plough Your Own Furrow", 4 April 1975 - It's Tom Good's 40th birthday, and he feels thoroughly unfulfilled. If only he can discover what It is and if he can, will Barbara agree to do It with him! "Say Little Hen", 11 April 1975 - The sudden transformation of the Goods home into a smallholding causes consternation next door, where Margo and Jerry decide it's their duty to interfere. "The Weaker Sex", 18 April 1975 - The Goods acquire a blackened cooking range for the kitchen, but the work of cleaning it up seems to fall to Barbara. Can the Leadbeaters offer her the comfort she needs? "Pig's Lib", 25 April 1975 - Margo decides that things have gone too far when pigs arrive next door. Tom and Barbara promise to keep them under control but Pinky and Perky have other ideas. --This text refers to the Audio CD edition.

Format:Audio Cassette
This Cassette resurrects the fantastic classic BBC comedy. Although first shown in 1975, it still shows similar social issues today. When Tom and Barbara Good turn their backs on the rat race and become Self-sufficient, the do what many of us would like to do, but don't have the courage. Life becomes difficult for them as they give up all un-necessary items, plus there is also their snooty neighbours Margo and Jerry, It's a wonder how they managed. This is a show for everyone who enjoys great comedy at it's best.
