This is a fantastic book that should never have been allowed to go out of print. The two main fairies are banished from Scotland and end up in New York where they cause chaos by declaring open warfare amongst the fairy community there.Sex, drugs and anarchy reign - definitely not your average fairy tale! A masterpiece from Martin Millar, don't miss this chance of buying a copy.

Please, please, please, please ignore the heathens who rate this as 1 or 2 stars. Yes it's a challenging read, but there are fairies and drugs involved, but hey Wuthering Heights has got ghosts in it so ...
This is a book that will stay with you for decades.
So go on it's only £4.99 (June 2012) All prices correct at time of going to press.
Now shut up fairies... Stop it.... Don't do that ... it tickles.... my that's large, where did you get it from...!!

This is a very unusual story and to be perfectly honest I'm not entirely sure how much I enjoyed it. It has a fairly interesting plot line and the characters were interesting and varied. However, at times it was very repetitive which I found very disconcerting. I'm not sure if the author was making a point about the nature of life, or if it was just for comic effect but I think that after a while it had just gone a bit far. But overall this is a funny book and a very quick read, so if you're looking for something quirky and light, I'd recommend it.
