I am a keen golfer, but it made no difference to my enjoyment of this book. This book is ideal to anybody feeling that there is no magic in the world, no sparkle. This book makes you believe that anything is possible and that what you truely believe will come to be. Coupled with some superb quotes and words of wisdom, this story captivates you as you take in the role of Robert, the young depressed golfer, and as the mystery millionaire gradually builds up Roberts courage, determination and faith, yours follows suit. A must for anyone that feels their life has become mundane.

Within the first half dozen pages of reading 'The Golfer & the Millionaire' i felt frozen in shock and on the point of tears. The book seemed to be speaking directly to me about me! i was on my way back from a trip to St Andrews and in the airport i noticed a friend from the group had this bright paperback book. When i enquired about it he told me he had just picked it up in a second hand bookstore before we left for the airport, he wasn't that bothered about reading it straightaway so he let me have a browse. i couldn't put it down! From the off i empathised with the protagonist Robert, he was the same age as me and also seemed to be drifting his way through life, not living up to his potential. He sees himself in a very poor light, even though others around him see him as a wonderful talent. it takes the millionaire to show him that the way he prepares is wrong and that although he has a great talent, he needs to nurture his talent and make it grow in order to be the very best he can be.
The book itself is very easy to read as it reads more like a novel than a self help book, you get drawn into the story of robert and his development, both in regards to his golf and his general life.

I am a Professional Golfer and teach Sports Psychology. This really is a wonderfull book. I have passed this book on to all my pupils. They have loved it and so will you. When you play golf the first person to criticise your game is yourself, this book will change the way you think. Its not hard work to read in any way, it will take you on a simple journey. You really will find it hard to put the book down

This book will make you realise that you have a chance every day to excel and shine and problems which you think are blocking success to come into your life are just your thoughts in your mind. There is nothing which will stop you once you realise that you have power inside you. The book shows that success is for everybody to take and enjoy and is just around the corner. You only have to believe in yourself.

The only kind of golf I have ever played is crazy golf.

Anyone who thinks you cannot benefit from this book if you dont play golf is ... well just plain wrong.

But er that's no excuse for charging antiquarian prices for it! hem hem

I can thoroughly reccommend this book to anyone interested in improving their attitude and skill on the golf course. Its a beautifuland easy book to read. There are many thought provoking pieces which when put into practice on the golf course produce results! Last summer i came in the top 5 every competition I played in having spent 5 years at the bottom of the pile( my husband's words...lol) WOW what a change. To be read and re-read A really supportive book for any sportsperson or just for life !
