I wish Amazon would post samples for all of these discs. Only several have them so far. I listened to one and was hooked - buying nine or ten to date. And it is the first time I've bought discs without listening to samples, so sure was I of the quality of this series....and I haven't been disappointed. I wasn't familiar with the term "Light Music" per se, but in this case at least, it describes music which is harmony, melody, consonance, instrumental/orchestral, bouncy, danceable uplifting and joyful! This particular disc contains more tunes one would associate with marching bands, military bands...than the others, but these are mixed in with more subdued, yet still bouncy dance numbers. They are charming and if you enjoy nostalgic music from the first half of the twentieth century, you will love this - and the entire "Golden Age of Light" Music series. There are no vocals, the liner notes are very informative and the technical quality of the recording is free and clear of the usual complaints about older music. Enjoy!!
